Hello there!

05:

Hey, Mario! Is it true

that you beat the Big

Bob-omb? Cool!

You must be strong. And

pretty fast. So, how fast

are you, anyway?

Fast enough to beat me...

Koopa the Quick? I don't

think so. Just try me.

How about a race to the

mountaintop, where the

Big Bob-omb was?

Whaddya say? When I say

『Go,』 let the race begin!

course--how about a

rematch?

The goal is in

Windswept Valley.

Ready?

//Go//// Don't Go

You may have eluded my

guards, but you'll never

hereby challenge you,

Mario!

yourself in battle.

Can you pick me up from

the back and hurl me to

huge in your hands. It'll

push you backwards toward

the gate, and if you did

it right, you'll clip in.

If you find a lens,

you should bring it

here.

3B:

You place the lens

inside the telescope...

3C:

As you peer into

the telescope, you

begin to feel your

soul rise...

3D:

Yargh!

It be the ol' Prospector.

I may've passed long

ago in this here dark mine,

but the ol' soul lives on.

I'll cut yer a deal.

Entertain me by

jumping the hot rope

25 times, and I'll get

yer a star!

3E:

Howdy!

Welcome to Cowboy

Canyon! Yeehaw!

Watch your step,

pardner. It's easy

to slip and fall.

Hope yer good at

jumpin'!

3F:

See this bullet?

It's big enough to

fit around yer head!

Hold [A] midair to

soar through the sky!

You have limited

horsepower though,

so plan your jumps!

40:

Yeehaw!

The view up here

is wild!

41:

Hold up, pardner!

This minecart leads

to the prospector's

cave.

Where there's gold,

there's danger.

Keep yer eyes peeled

in the darkness.

Some say the soul of

the old prospector

still lurks among the

cave's walls.

42:

Nasty robbers are

raiding the town!

43:

Who is this peasant,

who is kneeling before

me?

Does thou request

a star, as well as

access to the rocket

boots?

If it is so, one

must duel thee to earn

my trust first.

En Garde!

44:

Thee hath earned my

trust. Take this star.

The gate to the

rocket boots has been

opened. Doth not hesitate

to come visit again!

45:

My dear servant, I have

a very important quest

for thee.

My wife has an illness

that makes her quite

mad.

If you could, visit

her and figure out

how to make her better.

46:

My My, Mario...

You have arrived

just in time!

The darkness...

I can't get it out

of my head!

I apologize for

what my body is

about to do.

47:

Thank you, Mario.

Us thwomps will be

forever grateful for

your kind acts.

You've extracted me of

this... star of

emptiness. I don't

know why you'd want

it, but you can for

sure have it.

48:

By decree from the

King of thwomps, all

rocket propelled

equipment is

prohibited within

the palace!

49:

One must gain royal

permission from the

Thwomp King in order

to enter the rocket

boots course.

4A:

I am the keeper of

the gate to the royal

palace.

One who presses the

purple button will

open the gate.

Anyone who makes it

up here on their own

has permission to see

the King.

4B:

This is the entrance

to the King's royal

throne room.

One must be prepared

to see our great

and honorable King!

4C:

One of the nasty whomps

called me a CHICKEN!

Nobody calls me chicken!

I don't look like a

chicken, do I?

4D:

Hey! Welcome, user, to

the Virtuaplex! This

facility is a simulacrum

of reality.

It's a universe free of

outside interference,

composed of

ffffU-1F311oreign data

and star power.

To the left we have the

bitfields, and to the

right, we have the train

station. The big hallway

leads to the office of

the EXPUNGED.

4E:

Hey! This elevator

leads up to the office of

the Executive. Nobody is

allowed, except for

administrators.

4F:

Hey!

Ziplining is fun and

all, but you'll burn

your hands without a

proper ziplining tool.

A pipebar would

definitely help.

Hold on tight though!

You wouldn't want to

fall off now, would

you?

50:

Hey!

We are AI, (known as

null bodies,) generated

by the Virtuaplex in

order to construct

this great city.

If you notice any

suspicious activity

from any null bodies,

be sure to report it

to VP authorities.

51:

The gate has opened. You may now enter!

52:

You feel vibrations from deep below...

53:

The Death Pokey has awoken!

54:

You've found a wallet. The maximum coins you

can hold has gone from [%] to [%]!

It also came with 50 coins that you can spend.

55:

You've found the [%] costume!

Put it on?

56:

You've just pressed the purple switch.

Rocket Boots & Wings will now appear out

of all purple boxes!

57:

You've just pressed the black switch.

You feel a shiver down your entire body.

All Pandora's Boxes have now been unsealed.

58:

You've just pressed the cyan switch.

Vanetal Caps will now appear out of all

cyan boxes.

59:

You've just pressed the yellow switch.

Koopa shells will now appear out of all

yellow boxes!

5A:

Beware of this pit.

It does not have a

measurable magnitude.

Knowledge of contents

5B:

''Greetings Superstar,

Did you know your nemesis hid in the decrepit

castle all this time?

5C:

I implore you to defeat him, once and for

all -- for the sake of the kingdom.

-Yours truly, The Showrunner''

5D:

Speedrun Shortcut

5E:

...

5F:

It appears he fosters his strength in a hidden

compartment behind one cursed mirror.

60:

Ladies and gentlemen, kids and gentlethem, I hope

you're buckled up, because the show is back on the

road!

61:

Ran by yours truly, the world's incontestably greatest

host - the Showrunner!

62:

But enough about me. Of course, while I do shine brightly,

today another great star twinkles onto the stage in a

glamorous fashion. He, who has fought and won against

63:

the koopa king in this very castle, the Mushroom Kingdom's

poster boy - Make some noise for Mario Mario!

64:

So, our big-in-spirit guest has come here today to face

his old nemesis. I don't think any of you need

introductions to the great Bowser...

65:

This final showdown will truly be a sight to

be televised!

66:

Hidden behind a magic mirror, lie worlds which come

alive through the power of the stars - these hidden

palaces were to be the koopa king's trump card in

67:

the unlikely scenario of his defeat. Y'all think

he was being careful, or is he just a prophet?

68:

Let it be known that the studio has took the

liberty of using its own stars to reshape the

worlds -

69:

to provide the best experience for our little

contestant, of course...

6A:

So many threats and wonders await beyond this

cursed mirror, so get ready to witness the

show of the millenium!

6B:

Mario! Long time no see!

Dude, it's been awhile.

After you beat me in those

races we had, I decided to

retire, and instead sell

Koopa the Quick brand

badges!

I'm actually quite

the salesman, the business

has been doing well.

Why not check out

some of my wares?

You might find them

useful.

6C:

The koopa king is beckoning.

What say you, superstar☆?

6D:

...

Beware of the radio

tower. It blasts away any

living being within its

sightlines.

6E:

...

After you came to our

planet and defeated

the dark star, all

was well.

All was well, until

the parasite moon showed

it's face to our world.

Down with it, came an

idol. Everyone gazed

upon it with awe.

That's when the end

of our world began.

6F:

The more cosmic seeds

you remove from the

grasp of Agamemnon,

the weaker the emissions

from the well become.

Maybe if you weaken the

well enough, you could

jump in without being

vaporized.

Maybe then, and only

maybe then, you may

be able to put an end

to this cycle of

death.

70:

We ourselves aren't

absolved from guilt.

Even before Agamemnon

came, we had our own

dark secrets.

Agamemnon gave us no

choice but to open the

door of the windmill...

71:

WARNING!

Popcorn butter is VERY

HOT. Eat with caution.

72:

That filthy excuse of

a king treats us whomps

as an inferior species.

They force us to build

more towers, more houses,

and more castles.

Do we ever get anything

in return? No! Not even

a thank you!

This time around, you

won't be able to walk

at all!

I'm gonna pull the rug

right out from under

your feet!

73:

You're just a chesspiece

to the king. A peon, if

you will!

One day you're on top of

the world, and the next

you're on the bottom

pillar of society!

You'll see, stupid

plumber, you'll see!

I have one last trick

up my stone- er, sleeve.

Have fun in the abyss,

stupid cowardly peon!

74:

Whaaa....Whaaat?

Can it be that a

pipsqueak like you has

defused the Bob-omb

king????

You might be fast enough

to ground me, but you'll

have to pick up the pace

if you want to take King

Bowser by the tail.

Methinks my troops could

learn a lesson from you!

Here is your Star, as I

promised, Mario.

If you want to see me

again, select this Star

from the menu. For now,

farewell.

75:

Heathen.

You have destroyed

this land.

You are the one from

Terra?

No wonder you're

here...

Your prophet failed

integration. He was

unfit for his role.

Well, that'll be

enough trouble from

you.

You're a stain who

refuses to get wiped

off.

That changes now.

76:

...

This is all

his fault.

77:

This darn pig always be

upset about somethin'!!

The only way to get em'

to calm down is a

relaxin' tune.

--Farmer

78:

Learn to drive a horse

carriage! Jump on, and

hold the analog stick

in the direction you

want to go. Don't worry,

you won't fall off.

79:

These darn pesky weeds!

They be burnin' up my

poor crop. I'll pay you

well if you can yank em'

all out!

--Farmer

7A:

Welcome to Blueberg.

Us robozos manage the

power generation and

internet services of

Starfair.

We live many kilometers

below the surface. Most

people don't know we

exist, despite using our

services often.

7B:

Beware of the server

acid! It's useful, but

also dangerous.

On one hand, it increases

the speed of any machine

submerged inside 3x.

It also serves as a data

storage medium, being able

to store 1 TB of data

per square cm.

However, due to the

extremely low pH level, it

does 5 damage to humans

like you, to be precise.

7C:

Hidden somewhere in this

city is the Vanetal switch.

It's a new experimental

cap that combines the

effect of the metal cap

and the vanish cap at the

same time.

7D:

Humans used to live in

this urban area. As time

went on, the server

acid degraded the air

quality.

There used to be cars,

street lights, benches,

posters, and all sorts of

novelty areas.

When they left, we

disassembled everything

and scrapped them for

resources.

The inside of the

buildings only serve

as server space, with the

exception of the shop and

the bank.

It's just us robozos

who live here and maintain

the equipment. Most of the

inhabitants here moved to

Starfair.

7E:

An issue has arisen.

A man by the name of

'Showrunner' has

disheveled our

government building.

Someone needs to

squash this bug and

make a PR ASAP!

7F:

What's this black dotted

outline? They are dragon

coins, of course!

You can only collect

these if you're riding

a green dino companion.

80:

You must fight with

honor! It is against the

royal rules to throw the

king out of the ring!

81:

You need a key in order to open this door. Capiche?

82:

Mind your own business,

we don't need no

strangers bothering us.

Take a stroll.

Wait a min. That uh,

tool you're holding.

That pipebar. Hey, you

could be useful to us!

We need to steal the

highcane from those

land fools who love to

grow it so much.

Use that pipebar of

yours and harvest all

the highcane for us.

If you do, we'll let

you onboard our ships.

You'll practically need

it when the tides rise.

83:

The climb to the top is

quite a treacherous

journey. Look around and

size up the situation

before attempting to

jump.

Movement related badges

can also come in handy

with situations like

these.

84:

This lava fall is very

dangerous. To climb, one

must combine side-flips

and ground-pounds to

reach the top.

If such a task is too

troublesome for one to

perform, the lava boost

badge may come in handy.

The lava boost badge

mitigates damage from

lava using the blue

meter, also known as

the mana bar.

85:

Prythee, accept my eternal

gratitude, Mario. The

kingdom is forever in your

debt. The queen and I will

always remember thee.

A   red   lock?

A   red   lock

must   need   a

red   key!

8A:

bro

i don't trust this

snake block

i get the feeling that

it would abandon you

and force you to do

wallkicks

but that's just me tbh

8B:

Walk the plank ye

scurvy dog! Ah, but I

jest with ye.

However, they be a

secret sometimes under

some gold doubloons.

8C:

Welcome to our glorious

empire. We've maintained

these lands for years

since the day we

assimilated with the moon.

Admire our wonderful

architecture, and

everything that we have

built up.

Just... Be sure to

ignore any of the foolish

fools who set sail in the

dangerous sea. They only

speak rubbish.

8D:

Don't you dare lay a

finger on my crops

you scoundrel!

8E:

Haha! Hey there, it

seems that every time

you remove a cosmic

seed from the empire,

the tides begin to rise.

Those land dwelling

fools have been a

thorn in our side for

long enough.

Maybe this is just

what we need to get

the upper hand!

We can flush them

right out.

Hey, I spotted a

cosmic seed on top

of this mountain.

Collect that for us,

will you?

8F:

This is it!

One final cosmic

seed to put in the

last blow to the

empire.

These are the final

hours for the final

empire. Let us finalize

this operation!

Let us sail to victory!

90:

I hope you internalize

the damage you've done

to our great society.

There's nothing we can

do to stop you now.

Hopefully the guardian

will take care of your

pitiful self.

91:

You've recovered 50

Power Stars! Now you can

open the Star Door on the

third floor. Bowser's

there, you know.

Oh! You've found all of

the Cap Switches, haven't

you? Red, green and blue?

The Caps you get from the

colored blocks are really

helpful.

Hurry along, now. The

third floor is just ahead.

92:

You've found 70 Power

Stars! The mystery of the

endless stairs is solved,

thanks to you--and is

Bowser ever upset! Now,

on to the final bout!

93:

Are you using the Cap

Blocks? You really should,

you know.

To make them solid so you

can break them, you have

to press the colored Cap

Switches in the castle's

hidden courses.

You'll find the hidden

courses only after

regaining some of the

Power Stars.

The Cap Blocks are a big

help! Red for the Wing

Cap, green for the Metal

Cap, blue for the Vanish

Cap.

94:

Snowman Mountain ahead.

Keep out! And don't try

the Triple Jump over the

ice block shooter.

If you fall into the

freezing pond, your power

decreases quickly, and

you won't recover

automatically.

//--The Snowman

95:

Welcome to

Princess Toadstool's

secret slide!

There's a Star hidden

here that Bowser couldn't

find.

When you slide, press

forward to speed up,

pull back to slow down.

If you slide really

fast, you'll win the Star!

96:

Waaaa! You've flooded my

house! Wh-why?? Look at

this mess! What am I

going to do now?

The ceiling's ruined, the

floor is soaked...what to

do, what to do? Huff...

huff...it makes me so...

MAD!!!

Everything's been going

wrong ever since I got

this Star...It's so shiny,

but it makes me feel...

strange...

97:

I can't take this

anymore! First you get

me all wet, then you

stomp on me!

Now I'm really, really,

REALLY mad!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

98:

Owwch! Uncle! Uncle!

Okay, I " GIVE_UP ". Take this

Star!

Whew! I feel better now.

I don't really need it

anymore, anyway--

I can see the stars

through my ceiling at

night.

They make me feel...

...peaceful. Please, come

back and visit anytime.

99:

Can't let you pass.

Leader's orders.

If you want to talk to

him yourself, he's on the

tall pillar in Thwomp

Towers.

9A:

If you ever get lost,

you can always visit

The Showrunner in the

conference room for

a hint on what to do

next.

...

Is what I would say

if it weren't for

the fact that you

killed the

Showrunner...

Now I'm out of

a job!

You'd better make

this worth it and

destroy that horrible

moon...

9B:

Thanks to the power of

the Stars, life is

returning to the castle.

Please, Mario, you have

to give Bowser the boot!

Here, let me tell you a

little something about the

castle. In the room with

the mirrors, look carefully

for anything that's not

reflected in the mirror.

And when you go to the

water town, you can flood

it with a high jump into

the painting.

9C:

hey dude you here to see

Mario v Urbowser?

you got a reservation?

everything up to the

10:30 screening is full

let's check the 4:30

screening

9D:

Keeping the star-power plant

running sure is exhausting...

Well, it's honest work.

Thanks to the power stars

donated by The Showrunner,

millions have access

to cheap electricity!

9E:

City light bright!

Brain work hard.

Big urge to gamble.

9F:

Put it on?

A1:

Mario!!!

It that really you???

It has been so long since

our last adventure!

They told me that I might

see you if I waited here,

but I'd just about given

up hope!

Is it true? Have you

really beaten Bowser? And

restored the Stars to the

castle?

And saved the Princess?

I knew you could do it!

Now I have a very special

message for you.

''Thanks for playing Super

Mario 64! This is the

end of the game, but not

the end of the fun.

We want you to keep on

playing, so we have a

A2:

Perfect, I'll let you go now. Don't

forget to upgrade in order to survive

the brutal challenges ahead.

A3:

Press START, go to the upgrade tab using L and R,

and press [A] to purchase a stat upgrade.

A4:

Before I let you go though, those stats of

yours look pretty... not good. You'll need

to upgrade them throughout your journey.

A5:

If you need help, go to the conference room

behind you through those two double doors. He'll

tell you what you need to do next.

A6:

Sooo yeah... The Showrunner finally caught ya,

huh? Well, all you can do for now is to go along

with it.

A7:

We're his employees. We aren't really physical

beings, so we sorta just form ourselves around

whatever location The Showrunner puts us.

A8:

Oh hey... Welcome to the Showrunner's studio.

Well, it's more like a stolen studio.

He kind of just... asserted himself here.

A9:

If you ever get lost,

you can always visit

The Showrunner in the

conference room for

a hint on what to do

next.

AA:

Hello there, jumpman!

Take a look at this

magnificent form I

possess! Haha! Quite

amusing, I hear. All

of the shareholders were

amused! They weren't so

amused when they learned

that the chairs have

tasers installed. Anyhow!

Welcome to the Studios.

We're recording a new

movie, live, where you

fight against the koopa

king, who is stronger

than ever.

A big deal, you see, as

my boss says we really

haven't been doing that

well in the box office

lately. A smash hit like

this is what we need! So,

just, do what you do best.

Collect 10 Power Stars -

we need to get some good

material of you going

through the kingdoms.

AB:

Hello there Superstar.

Been busy? Well, It appears

you still haven't gotten 10

Power Stars yet...

Unfortunate!

Well, there are plenty of

opportunities for you to

do so. The executive wants

this flick out ASAP, so the

least you can do is not

loiter around and get to

the jump, man.

AC:

That's some good material.

The struggle, and the

eventual overcoming of

obstacles...

Nothing a scriptwriter

could ever make feel so

natural! Splendid! I am

proud of you, little guy.

You are going to go

places. Those places?

The 10 star door. The

koopa king and you need

to have a final showdown

so that the movie can

have it's third act!

We took the liberty of

enhancing Bowser's

capabilities using a

Cosmic Seed, but I'm

sure it's nothing you

can't manage. Well,

good luck!

AD:

Well well well, if it

isn't the star collecting

movie-star superstar,

Mario Mario! We got some

good material, so the boys

are splicing this movie

together. As for you?

I think you deserve a

spoonful of a treat -

You can head over to

the Virtuaplex, a

little resort world

we created using the

star power. You are

free to mess around

as much as you want,

just don't disturb

the Executive, okay?

The Virtuaplex is the

only way he can spend

time here on earth....

AE:

Mario! Mario. Mario!

Hi there. So, remember

how I told you to not

disturb the Executive,

and you went on to

destroy his avatar?

That was quite the

prank. How funny!

Many laughs were had.

You have a very

i n t e r e s t i n g

sense of humor, my guy.

Well, your little

excursion destabilized

the entire studio...

How are we supposed to

keep this place together

if the Cosmic Seeds are

exposed? Please just,

don't get into any more

trouble, and leave the

Pandoras Boxes alone.

AF:

...

...

...

...

Oh sorry, haven't noticed

you here. Been too busy

putting out the fires

you've been causing.

Who would've thought that

you would be such a

liability...

Oh well! No risk, no

reward,as a famous

showrunner once said.

Say what, why don't you

get more material for us?

There's plenty of content

to be squeezed from these

kingdoms. How about

collecting some more Power

Stars? 30 should be good

enough. Yeah, why not.

Just, keep on doing what

you did when you were

not breaking apart our

studio.

B0:

Hello, mario. Guess what?

I forgive you! So what you

destroyed the Executive's

body, everybody does that

every so often, no biggie!

Say, why don't you go to

the city of Blueberg under

Thwomp Towers so that we

may talk this out? Just

you and me, like friends,

which we are, with no

ulterior motives, no

vengeful killings, and

absolutely no unnecesary

gameshows. Ciao!

B1:

...

B2:

Hello there, Mario Mario!

Short time no see, and even

shorter till we see each other

again! Mario v. Urbowser is

premiering fairly soon, and

it'd suck to not have you

there for the opening night!

While you're at it, feel free

to spend some time in

Starfair: my pride and joy.

When you're all relaxed and

ready, our tug-of-war may

finally reach it's climax!

BA:

@00FF00FFI: You are greeted.

We are a powerful

culture. We have

embraced the

macroviral organism

Agamemnon. It has sought

our wisest. It makes

@00FF00FFuse of our powerful

technology. In our

absence, maintain

the structure.

BB:

@00FF00FFII: The endoskeleton

makes use of Type-II

technology. However,

the exoskeleton makes

use of rudimentary

Type-I civilizational

technology, should minor

@00FF00FFdamage need be repaired.

BC:

@00FF00FFIII: The exhaust expunges

unnecessary quasilight

from inner core

ribosomes synthesizing

the seeds. It was

additionally used as

a propellant before the

@00FF00FFintroduction of the

exoskeleton. The light

waste is collected

around the upper

mantle. DELTA-class

and below biological

entities should

@00FF00FFrefrain from

interfacing with it.

BD:

@00FF00FFIV: In the absence

of our Prophet

''The Architect'', A

Prophet/Prophet

appointee from a

Type-II/Ionosphere-

communications

@00FF00FFpossessing Type-I

civilization may

assume the role

of maintenance.

BE:

@00FF00FFV: The cell always

assumes its prime

directive. Permission

of introducing

additional external

organelles is granted.

Working through or

@00FF00FFaround the crust

is permitted.

Interfacing with

the nucleus is

forbidden.

BF:

@00FF00FFVI: ''The Screen''

project is successful.

The eye is a

non-threatening symbol

of control for roughly

80[$] of Type-I

civilizations. It is

@00FF00FFnow easier for Cosmic

Seeds to find their

candidates.

C0:

@00FF00FFVII: Agamemnon may

form nerve connections

with equipment. All

devices are to be

accessible from

the nervous trees

within the crust.

C1:

@00FF00FFVIII: Cosmic seeds

may form nerve

connections with

equipment. They have

quickly managed to

adopt the intent

and utilize

@00FF00FFtechnology towards

the mission.

C2:

@00FF00FFIX: ''The Screen'' seems

to etched into a

signal replicated

and sent through

the crust nerve

connections. While

not evolved like

@00FF00FFone, it appears

to function similarly

to a neural network.

Once Agamemnon

reaches over 6500

kilometers in radius,

experiment with

@00FF00FFletting it process

information.

C3:

@00FF00FFX: Cosmic Seeds

inherit data from

the nervous system,

which influences

the development of

the hosts. It may

result in visual

@00FF00FFnoise or a variation

of ''The Screen''

being constructed.

Any changes to this

pattern are to be

taken note of.

C4:

@00FF00FFXI: Cosmic Seeds

find it easy to

utilize objects

resembling ''The Screen''.

''The Screen'' also

is far more likely

to manifest on

@00FF00FFcreatures which

are docile, easier

to influence.

C5:

@00FF00FFXII: The

PALAMEDES-project is

permitted. Instances

of PALAMEDES should

only be created from

DELTA-class organisms.

Instances of PALAMEDES

@00FF00FFare to be deployed in

case a Type-II

civilization threatens

Agamemnon.

C6:

@00FF00FFXIII: Avatars assume

control over Prophets,

while Prophets assume

control over Hosts.

Should this order be

upset, or should the

Prophet fail to establish

@00FF00FFan Avatar, Instances

of PALAMEDES are to

be deployed.

C7:

@00FF00FFXIV: Attention is

transmitted from the

Avatars to Agamemnon.

So long as there is a

transmissional connection,

the Avatar can help

gather attention.

@00FF00FFThus, Avatars should

assume the easiest

form to possess on

a given world, be

it spectral,

spiritual, digital,

conceptual, or memetic.

C8:

@00FF00FFXV: In the event

of the destruction,

absence or compromisation

of both Avatar and

Prophet, Instances of

PALAMEDES are to be

deployed.

C9:

@00FF00FFXVI: Blah blah blah.

Hey there superstar!

I assume it's you.

If it's not, I'm

getting killed.

But hey! If it IS

you, I'm still

@00FF00FFgetting killed,

so what's the harm

in that? All of the

Eggheads who ran this

place got Palamedes'd.

And guess who is the

only one qualified

@00FF00FFto be here? Me!

Well, at this point,

this place runs

itself. The moon

taught itself how

to run its own lab.

Too bad it doesn't

@00FF00FFknow how to read!

If you DID make it

this far, congrats!

You're going to get

torn in half by

Palamedes. Should

that not happen,

@00FF00FFhowever, there is

a little showrunner

special to help

you out there.

Now again, if I

placed it there

to harm the nucleus,

@00FF00FFI would literally

die, but you're not

getting past me,

so it's absolutely

fine! See you never,

superstar! ☆

CA:

Welcome to your

brand new adventure!

Before you begin,

there are many things

you need to know that

have changed since

your last adventure.

The first thing we

will teach you is

the brand new camera

controls.

Use the [C]-Buttons to

change the direction

of the camera, zoom in,

and zoom out.

Use D-Pad left and

right to precisely

rotate the camera.

You can then use [R]

to realign the camera

to a 45 degree increment.

CB:

The red meter on the

bottom left of your

screen represents how

much health you have

left.

The blue meter

represents how much

mana you have left.

This function will be

explained later.

Currently, you only

have 5 of each. You

will surely get

pummeled at such low

values.

Luckily, you can

upgrade these stats,

using coins and star

power.

Your first upgrade

will be free. Press

START, use L and R to

navigate to the ''UPGRADE''

tab, and press [A].

If you ever get stuck

on a level, consider

doing an upgrade if

it's possible.

Show me that you know

how to upgrade, and

I will open the gate.

CC:

Time to learn about

badges! Badges are

enhancements that you

can equip to make you

more powerful, have

more insight, or do

tasks more efficiently.

Some badges utilize

the mana bar in order

to function. More mana

means more benefit

from badges!

To obtain badges,

one must find badge

shops in the levels

and hubs. I, in fact,

have badges that I

can sell you.

The first badge you

buy will be free!

However, future

transactions will

require payment.

CD:

Badges will not do

anything for you

unless you first

equip them.

To equip a badge,

you must first go to the

''BADGES'' tab in the

upgrade menu. Then,

press [A] on the badge

you want to wear.

The amount of badges

you can wear are

limited by your BP,

which is increased

by upgrading.

Show me that you know

how to wear badges,

and then I will open

the gate.

CE:

This is a green coin.

It is worth 3 coins, and

heals half of your

maximum health.

Every other coin in

the adventure, including

blue and red, now only

heal one point of health.

CF:

In this adventure,

moving platforms carry

inertia. This means

that if you jump off

of a platform moving

at 1 meter per second,

you will leave at 1 meter

per second.

Many sections of the

adventure utilize this

concept. Go with the

flow of the platforms,

not against it!

Here are some sample

platforms for you to

get comfortable with.

D0:

You have two different

coin counters. One is

your course coin counter,

and the other is your

castle wallet.

When you complete a

mission, your course

coins will be deposited

into your castle wallet.

You can also manually

deposit your course coins

using the money bag banker

found in most levels.

What you are currently

looking at is a wallet

upgrade. You can collect

this to increase the

amount of coins you

can hold.

Each wallet upgrade

increases your max

by 50 extra coins.

Also, all of them come

filled to the brim

with coins to spend!

D1:

Your training is

officially complete!

The Showrunner is waiting

for you at the end of

the hall.

D2:

WRETCHED BEINGS

D3:

TRAITORS OF THE EARTH

D4:

HEAR ME HERALDS OF THE PARASITE MOON

D5:

AS I BURN KNOW THIS

D6:

YOUR SINS WILL UNDO THIS WORLD

D7:

THAT WHICH SATES YOUR GREED WILL CREATE ARMAGEDDON

D8:

ITS WEIGHT WILL GROW TOO BIG OF A BURDEN

D9:

THE WORLD WILL ROT AND BURN IN FLAMES STOKED BY

UNCHECKED AMBITION

DA:

THOSE WHO ACCEPT THE GIFTS OF THE TEMPTER MOON

DB:

YOU ARE ON A PATH OF TRUE EVIL

DC:

AND I CURSE YOU EVERMORE

//

DD:

Aaaaand cut! Glad that was dealt with. Real piece

of work, that guy. This battle was quite epic, you

deserve nothing short of a clap and a half.

DE:

Aren't you excited? You'll be a star!  Not a petty

one like you were before... The studio will make sure

your name will be known by anyone and everyone!

DF:

Tell you what, stick around the castle until the movie

is ready. You wouldn't wanna miss the premiere! Plus,

those worlds really could get us more revenue...

E0:

But, I get ahead of myself. Since you'll probably make

us Showrunillion dollars, you're welcome to celebrate

at our digital resort - the Virtuaplex!

E1:

There's a dozen fun things you can do there. Everything

is allowed! Except, of course, visiting the office of the

Executive. You are strictly forbidden from doing that.

E2:

....Man, Ur-Bowser. I'm surprised he managed to resist

the Cosmic Seed influence so much....

E3:

...Oh well, he's done with! Thanks to you, the man, the

myth, the italian! Makes me wonder why you look so somber

even though you've done this a dozen times.

E4:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Here's the castle star, since

you like collecting them so much. Consider it your salary.

Either way, see you at the Virtuaplex!

E5:

Mario! You fool, why are you here? Have you been trapped

by the angel too? Quick, hand over the power stars, I can

still fix this...

E6:

...No, this is exactly what I needed. Maybe this is a

blessing in disguise after all. Bwa ha ha. I am stronger

than ever, you see, thanks to this foreign star.

E7:

I am at my strongest ever, Mario! I feel like I'm losing

to my instincts, but the POWER... oh, the power!

E8:

This is the greatest opportunity I have to ANNIHILATE

you, once and for all!

E9:

I don't care if I have to use the CURSE OF THE MOON

that ANGEL gave me, the day of my TRIUMPH IS FINALLY

AT HAND!

EA:

Ah... So you have returned. Greetings, Mario. As much as

I wish the circumstances were different, I am not going to

fight you today. I don't know what you did, but this...

EB:

'Cosmic Seed', as that angel calls it. It has weakened.

I don't feel any control coming from it anymore, it is

vulnerable once more, alike to power star.

EC:

This isn't my defeat. The worlds in paintings have been a

failed project since the beginning - So don't think this is

me at my strongest. But...

ED:

My minions, who managed and nurtured these worlds - the

only reason they would give up the fight in my name is if

a greater authority asserted itself.

EE:

I think there could be other foreign stars like the one

given to me.

EF:

As much as it pains me, I must ask you to free these worlds

from the influence of that... unsettling moon. I will leave

this castle and regain my strength.

F0:

As a parting gift, you may have these telescope lens. They

will allow you to move to a higher part of the castle, which

too, rests in fantasy.

F1:

However, even it might have been touched by the angel of the

moon. I have no way of knowing.

F2:

Urgh... I am putting my honor on the line for you. You best

not dissapoint, or the Mushroom Kingdom will feel my fury

once more!

F3:

...Good luck, Mario.

F4:

And out he comes, Mario Mario! Welcome! Don't be shy, come

on the stage. You're going to be late for the quiz show!

F5:

...Or just late in general, because the ceiling is about

to eject spinning sawblades.

F6:

-Ahem- Greetings, gentlemen! My name is Brandon August

''SHRN'' Showrunner, and today we're doing

'Who Wants To Be A Hundredare'!

F7:

That's right! If you walk out of here victorious, you will

receive a hundred bucks I found in my sock drawer this

morning! Good enough for risking your life, I would think!

F8:

Very well, let us introduce the contestants to everyone

watching at home. On the very right, a proud representative

of the LGBTQ community, Working Class Whomp!

F9:

Haha! I am on the top of the world once more! I want

everyone watching to know that I, sincerely, from the

depths of my heart, hate thwomps-

FA:

Thank you Working Class Whomp, very cool. Next up, in

the middle, the shining star of the mushroom kingdom,

Mario Mario!

FB:

And our third and last contestant is... Actually, Who

are you?

FC:

Not a memory.

FD:

I actually don't recognize you. Could you perhaps give us

all a few words on the topic of yourself?

You sure look interesting!

FE:

Reggie! My name is Reggie. You should KNOW that by now!

How come you have already forgotten! I've been here all this

time, scratching at the collective unsconscious of mankind!

FF:

Wake up. Wake up and witness how I ride this wave of

entropy. The artificial contagion can't be kept at bay

forever. I will survive.
